Supervised community family time
What you can expect
Family time between children and their parents / family members needs to be an enjoyable and safe experience for children. Children quite often enjoy the normality of spending time with their family outside of the confines of a local authority contact centre.
Our team will logistically plan arrangements for community family time sessions and we work during the week, in the evenings or at the weekends. We are also able to use local resources such as local community centres (at an additional cost to cover venue cost). Sessions can be supervised by our social workers or family support worker.
Our staff will always meet with a child and parent in advance of a family time session to ensure they know who we are and what our role is. Our family time reports are factual, comprehensive and made available within 72 hours of the session ending.
